The Guild attends many shows, over most weekends of the year, covering the whole of the country. If you're interested in finding out more about when and where to see us please contact us. The Guild stands and displays are always well supported by the members and manned by willing and enthusiastic members. Please feel free to visit us at any of the shows and have a chat - It's good to Talk.
Please take time to read the next few lines as it contains some Do's and Dont's
If you are camping at any event remember to leave space between you and your neighbour. All vehicles that are driven on/off a rally field must have a valid tax disc and relevant insurance. All rally fields are classed as public areas so drivers must have a valid driving licence. Follow the instructions of the marshals even if you think you can do it better. The events list is not exhaustive, as some organisers don’t release their show dates till later in the year so keep your eye on this page for further updates as and when they come in.
The trend now is to do every thing on line including downloading the booking forms where there are no contact phone numbers - email is the only way.
Your car/s doesn’t have to be pristine to be shown all we ask is that your car is clean when exhibiting. Please remember the Guild has Public Liability insurance for any club stands copies can be requested from the general secretary.
Please let us know as soon as possible if you wish to be booked in for a show, don't leave it to the last minute to do so. (Don't assume that Area Co-Ordinators will chase you up !) In order to put on a Guild stand we need to know numbers, so that the organisers & sponsors can arrange sufficient space for the number of cars wishing to attend. Book early to avoid disappointment. 19th INTERNATIONAL SHOWDAY & AGM 26-28 July
To be held again at, Wicksteed Park, near Kettering, Northamptonshire. THIS YEAR WE ARE CELEBRATING 20 YEARS OF THE GUILD, so please support your Guild and make this a vey special weekend. For more information contact Brian Creed.
WINGS & WHEELS 2012 26-27 August.
We again have Club Stand at 'Wings and Wheels 2013' 24/5 August at Dunsfold (the Top Gear test track) aerodrome, just south of Guildford, Surrey. The club stand is 20 m x 20 m - enough for 10 to 12 cars. For more information contact John Kempson. Visit the official Wings & Wheels site.
ALL GRANADA CLUBS TOGETHER 20-22 September
Again to be held at Wicksteed Park, near Kettering, Northamptonshire. Leave the A14 at Junction 10 and follow the brown Wicksteed Park signs. Camping and caravan spaces available. Get ready for the ultimate weekend. Come along and enjoy a relaxing weekend with your Consul, Granada or Scorpio. All cars welcome. You don't need to be a member of a club and your car doesn't need to be in 'show' condition. Sunday is the main day, when there will be Club stands, autojumble, and all the important showing and judging of the cars. For more information contact Brian Creed.
NEC 2013. The date is 14 November 2013 for stand build up then 15-17 November for show days.
Just a short note to thank all who put their cars on stand at NEC last year and helped out over the weekend. We had 11 new members who joined at the show, some forms were taken away hopefully these will join us. Thank you to our Chairman, he came on Saturday and did a great job and enjoyed himself. Many thanks to members who visited us over the weekend hope you had a tea or coffee. This year I would like to have some different cars, I have booked a stand so hope we will be lucky again, so how about it members.
GUILD END OF SEASON GET TOGETHER 11-13 October
Wellington Country Park, Berkshire. The park is 350 acres of parkland with safe play areas, beautiful nature trails and lakeside walks. Catering for families, there is Crazy Golf, Miniature Railway, Café and Giftshop. Camping and caravanning available for the weekend contact John Barton. If using a Sat-Nav the postcode is RG7 1SP but you must enter Odiham Road as well or simply turn onto the B3349 off the A33 and the entrance is off the next island.
